GCSO-MARINE PATROL Position-The Garland County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for the position of Marine Patrol Officer. The Part-Time Marine Patrol position requires 29 hours per week which consists of weekends and holidays 20 weeks during the summer month’s May through September. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid Arkansas Driver’s License and pass a Criminal Background Check. Applicants must have general knowledge and handling ability of watercraft, be able to operate a vessel at night and will be required to attend a part-time auxiliary certification school. Applications may be picked up and submitted at the Sheriff’s Department, 525 Ouachita Avenue, between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm through Monday, February 11, 2013. Garland County is an EOE.
