NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID
Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal From Garland County Roads and ROW in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas
1. TIME & PLACE Sealed bids will be received for the Disaster Debris Removal and Disposal on Garland County Roads and ROW in Hot Springs Village, AR.
All bidders on this project will be required to sign the Contract Form of Agreement between Garland County and Contractor as provided in the bid documents. All bidders will be required to supply insurance and meet requirements as stated in the bid documents.
Bids will be received (personal delivery or by mail) until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 08, 2013 at the Garland County Courthouse, Rick Davis, Garland County Judge, 501 Ouachita Avenue, Room 210, Hot Springs, AR 71901. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in Court Room 200. Bids received after the above stated closing time will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids are to be on a unit price basis.
2. EXAMINATION & PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS Copies of Contract Bid Documents are on file for inspection, pick up, or mail out at Garland County Courthouse, Jerry G. Pogue (501-622-3602), 501 Ouachita Avenue, Room 210, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
3. CONTRACTOR REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION OR REVISION
Request for clarification or revision to any items, requirements or specifications in this bid document must be received in writing at the County Judges office not later than 5 p.m. Friday March 29, 2013.
Following receipt of a written request for the bid clarification, the County shall send a response to all bidders of record no later than 5 p.m. Tuesday April 02, 2013.
This will ensure competitive fairness by providing all prospective respondents with the same information.
4. BID REQUIREMENTS All bids will need to be accompanied by a cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid payable to Garland County, AR. The county reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities. Bidders must have a current Arkansas Contractors License before the bid proposal will be considered. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county and local laws, ordinances & regulations.
