Lucy Lorine Means Williams, 73, of Hot Springs, died Friday,  Feb. 17, 2012, at her home.

She was born Nov. 28, 1938, in Princeton, Ark., to Otis and Vassie Collins Means Sr.

Lorine was a member of Union Baptist Church were she served in the Culinary Ministry and the Vacation Bible School.

She worked many years for Ouachita Hospital and AMI, now National Park Medical Center, from which she retired. She was employed with the Senior Companion Program.

She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Thurman and Otis Means, one sister, Edna Osborne, two grandchildren, Detricke “Dee” Walker and Marvin Berthia Jr.

Precious memories of Lorine will forever be etched in the heart of her son, Elbert “Billy” (Vanessa) Jordan, of Sherwood; three daughters, Edith Loretta Jordan and Velma “Bobby” Davis, both of Hot Springs, and Audrea Means, of Little Rock; two brothers, McCrary “Mac” Means, of Hot Springs, and Jennings “Robin” Means, of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces including a special niece, Vassie “Ron” Akins, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Douglas E. Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at 441 Cleveland St.
