Violet Mae Foster, 91, of Hot Springs, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012. She was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Clinton, Ind., to the late Howard and Lucinda Whitehead.

She was an artist and homemaker, member of EHC, and was of the Methodist faith.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Foster Sr., one son, John Foster, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include her stepson, Albert Foster; stepdaughter, Marjorie Miller; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.
