William Fitch
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE – William (Bill) Fitch, 79, Hot Springs Village, passed away July 17, 2012.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jane.
Bill was an educator, teaching both upper school and college. He served as Headmaster at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio, and principal of Hoban High School in Akron. Bill retired in 1998 from The Benjamin School as head of the Science Department in North Palm Beach, Fla. He loved teaching and made lasting impressions on his many students.
Bill and Jane retired to Eureka Springs and in 2003 relocated to Hot Springs Village. Bill was active in the Village Players and his last performance was “Doc Burch” in “Sneaky Fitch.”
Private services are planned. Donations to the Garland County Humane Society can be made in his name.
