MALVERN – Daniel B. “Junior” Buie, 88, of Malvern, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 2012.

Daniel was born Feb. 6, 1924, in Prattsville, to Winfield Scott Buie and Barbara Ellen Macburnett. Daniel, who is better known as “Gramps” to his loved ones, was a loving husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Atkinson Chapel with Brother John Owen officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Atkinson Chapel. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in Malvern.
