Patricia Ruth Hanks, 75, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012. She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late James and Ruth (Corbitt) Henderson. Patricia retired after dedicating 32 years to public education.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years, Harry S. Hanks.

Survivors include one son, David Hanks, of Garland, Texas; daughter, Lisa Sikes and husband, Michael, of Hot Springs; brother, John Henderson and wife Sandy, of Arlington, Texas; nephews, Joe Henderson, Eric Henderson; and grandchild, Courtenay Nutter.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.
