Steve Allen Kelley, 55, of Hot Springs, died Sept. 28, 2012. He was born Jan. 21, 1957.

He was predeceased by father, Shelby Kelley.

He is survived by mother, Wanda Storey-Kelley; brother, William (Bill) Kelley; sister, Sherry Kelley-Haywood; wife, Melinda Harwood-Kelley and her children, Misty Huss, Adam Neighbors, Julian Green and their families; three grandchildren, Alexandra, Zachary and David; nephew, Billy Kelley, niece, Jamie Kelley and their families.

Steve loved playing music, composing and writing lyrics. He was happiest when performing for others, a true showman when he had a guitar in his hands pouring out energy in sound. He had the soul of a poet, heart of a lion and the smile of a devil. We will never hear a thumping bass line or guitar riff and not recall his love of life.

Steve’s last words in his will asked us not to be sad for he had loved and been loved and that was what he truly treasured.
