Alando Earl Roberts Sr., 86, was born March 18, 1926. He passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at his home in Malvern.

He is predeceased by his wife, Pauline Josephine Roberts; grandson, Landon Bryant Roberts and stepson Paul Phifer.

Mr. Roberts’s survivors include his soul mate of 34 years, Jessie Mae Smith; daughter, Karen and husband, Terrell McDaniel; son Orlando and wife, Andrea Roberts; stepsons, Samuel Phifer and James Phifer; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be no services. A private memorial service will be held by the family.

Mr. Roberts requested to be cremated.
