ROYAL — Cleadie “Faye” Kelley, 94, of Royal, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at her home. She was born June 8, 1918, in Hollis, to Walter and Winnie Hooper Johnson.

Faye was a member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was the love for her entire family.

She is predeceased by her parents; husband, William F. Kelley; brothers, Melvin, Elton, Virgil, Elzy and Coy Johnson; sister, Nova Baker; son-in-law, Morris Duncan; and grandson, Leslie Kelley. Faye is survived by son, Loyal Kelley, of Royal; daughter, Leveta Duncan, of Royal; brother, Odell (Madeline) Johnson, of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Marie Lancaster, of Marion, La., Emma Jane Whiley, of Wichita, Kan., Gereta Stone, of Wichita, Kan. and Lois (Clarence) Abbott, of Lewes, Del.; grandchildren, Wayne (Velda) Duncan, Darlene (Ronnie) Weaver, Letha (Terry) Scott, Kelley (Wayne) Haddox, Connie Kelley and Wade (Cheryl) Duncan; 12 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother J.D. Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Duncan, Jeremy Duncan, A.J. Brewer, Micah Graves, Terry Scott and Ronnie Weaver.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Timothy English, Darrell Singleton, Nicholas Weaver, Jeff Turner, Mark Godwin and Eric West.
