William Edward (Bill) Jones, 72, of Hot Springs, lost his battle with cancer Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. Bill was born Sept. 27, 1940, in London, Ky., to Edward and Willie Mae Jones, who predecease him.

Survivors include two sisters, Martha Chloann Jones, of Lexington, Ky., and Karen Norwood, of Little Falls, Minn.; and one brother, Robert Jones, of Hot Springs.

Bill worked for 35 years at St. Joseph hospital in Lexington, Ky., and moved to Hot Springs in 2004.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Garland Nursing and Rehab and to the staff of Arkansas Hospice for the care and comfort they provided Bill.

Final arrangements are by Cremation Association of Arkansas.
