MALVERN – Cecilia “July” Grappe McLain, age 95, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at home with her family by her side. She was born July 16, 1917, in Natchitoches, La., the daughter of William Abner and Della Maricelli Grappe.

Left to cherish her memory, sons, C.E. “Jim” McLain Jr. (Kathy), of Houston; daughters, Carolyn Cecilia McLain Walling ( Bruce Sr.), of Malvern; sisters-in-law, Cecile Grappe, of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Beatrice McLain, of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, Karla Wall, Lori Mace, Cheryl Fruge, Bruce Walling Jr. and Michelle Anderson; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
