TOPEKA, Kan. – Thurman Oscar Greis, 94, of Topeka, Kan., passed away at Aldersgate Village on Nov. 12, 2012. He was born on Nov. 17, 1917, to Oscar and Margaret (Fischer) Greis at St. Louis.

He married Morley Westfall on June 21, 1941. She preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 2010.

They lived in Hot Springs for over 30 years where he was actively involved in First Presbyterian Church, Lions Club, and Hot Springs Country Club.

He is survived by his sons, David T. Greis, of Kansas City, Mo., Barry Greis and his wife, Sandy, of Topeka, Kan. and their daughter, Jessica Lynn Greis Edwardson and her husband, Eric Edwardson, of Arlington, Va.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
