HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Charles W. Bell, 72, of Hot Springs Village, passed away Nov. 12, 2012.

Charles was born in Bauxite, the son of Rebecca B. and Charles L. Bell and is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary Lynn; daughter, Shanèen Tuley, of Los Angeles; and sister, Janet Huntsman, of Springdale.

An alumni of the University of Arkansas School of Business and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, Charles loved all things sports and could cite football, baseball and basketball stats that spanned decades. He had a passion for golf and was an avid fisherman in his earlier years.

Charles retired from a 36 year career with Kroger as the Division Controller in Indianapolis and enjoyed 25 years in horse racing as an owner. He was a member of the Indiana Standardbred Association and the United States Trotting Association.

Memorial donations should go to the University of Arkansas Athletic Foundation.
