Drusilla Lee “D-Lee” Packard, 48, of Hot Springs, went to work with the angels on Nov. 13, 2012. D-Lee was born Nov. 28, 1963, to Robert and Mona Packard and grew up in Rockland, Mass. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Steven Edward Packard.

Survivors include one daughter, Cierra Loop; four sisters, Tammera Mesa, Elizabeth Willis, Joyce Nordin and Joanne Nichols; one brother, Robert Packard Jr.; and countless friends and relatives.

D-Lee was a selfless woman who went out of her way to make every single person she encountered feel special, welcome and at home. She played a hand in raising countless children, leaving a positive impact and lasting impression on each of their lives. She never missed an opportunity to cheer on Lakeside’s swim team, embarrass every lifeguard she knew at Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, or take her beloved dog for a ride in the car.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Brady Mountain Resort area.
