LONSDALE – Johnie Allen James, 85, of Lonsdale, born May 14, 1927, in Davis, Okla., to parents, George and Elsie James, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012. He was a member of Owensville Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda James Fitzhugh, and his brothers, Thomas, Bert, Roy and Milton James.

Johnie is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce; his children, Harold James (Brooksie), Linda Jones, Tommy James (Tanya); his son-in-law, Phillip Fitzhugh; and his sisters, Patricia Winters and Judy Largent (Junior). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Owensville Baptist Church at 22000 Hwy 5 in Lonsdale.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at Owensville Cemetery.
