MALVERN — Viola M. Clements, 89, of Malvern, passed away Jan. 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 12, 1923, in St. Louis to the late Louis and Clara Aukemeyer Sippel. Mrs. Clements was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a homemaker and delivered Meals on Wheels for over 10 years. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Clements.

Survivors include her sons, William "Bill" Clements and his wife, Paula, of Butterfield, Bob Clements and his wife, Ellen, of Hot Springs, and Don Clements and his wife, Olga, of Kaufman, Texas; sister, Virginia Haley, of Freemont, Calif.; six grandchildren, Jason Clements, Jonathan Clements, Jeremy Clements, Erin Hicks, Jeff Clements, and Christina Calderon; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at Regency Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Babu Battula as Celebrant. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of the Crossing, Lake Hamilton Health and Rehab and 4th floor at Mercy Hospital. Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
