GLENWOOD — Jim Lang, 71, of Glenwood, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.

He was born on Jan. 14, 1941, in Decatur, Ala., the son of Homer Russell Lang and Ruby Delora Brown Lang.

He is survived by his wife, Gearlene Lang; son, Danny Lang (Michelle), of Glenwood; three daughters, Debie Gisis (Joe) of Murrieta, Calif., Christine Lang (Ron), of Hot Springs, and Vonda Solomko (Alex), of Murrieta, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

 A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Tabor Holiness Church with Bob Wiyott officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
