Robert Henry Campillo, 74, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, in Little Rock after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Jan. 5, 1938, in San Francisco, Calif., to the late John C. and Mary Helen Jones Campillo. Robert was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, served as a professor at the University of Oregon and owned a trucking business.

Survivors include his adoptive family, Terry and Allison Gainor and Alfonso and Gloria Vacquez who loved him and will miss him greatly.

Memorial services will be private and held at a later date.
