BLEVINS – James Larry Carman, 70, of Blevins, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Blevins. Larry was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Prescott, to Dorris Berger and Doris Montgomery Carman.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he had worked as a letter carrier. He was also a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the First Assembly of God Church for 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; and father-in-law, Kenneth Harmon.

Larry is survived by daughters, Michawn Davis and husband, Johnny, of Blevins, and Heather and husband, Jon Easterling, of Hope; sister, Sharon Waddle and husband Rick, of Hot Springs; mother-in-law, Ethel Harmon, of Hope; sister-in-law, Vigi and husband, Bubba Powers, of Hope; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis, Cody Davis, Kelly Davis, Aaron Easterling, Sandra Grace Easterling and Seth Easterling.

A service will be at 10 a.m. today in Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Bradley officiating, with interment to follow in Holly Grove Cemetery.
