Martha Jo Bohon, 73, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 19, 2013. She was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Longview, Texas, to Joseph and Birdie (Latham) Phillips. Martha was a member of Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, La. She also attended Sunday School at Center Fork Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband, James Carroll Bohon.

Loving survivors include sons, Allen Bass and wife, Gina, of Pearcy, Michael Bass and wife, Loretta, of Gilmer, Texas, James H. Bohon, and wife Debbie, of Texarkana, Texas, Ray Bohon, of Dierks and Eddie Bohon and Sylvia, of Kiln, Miss.; daughters, Susie Bohon and Benny, of Doyline, La., Lynn Vilona and husband, Joe, of Elmhurst, Ill., and Carol Williams and husband, Garvin, of Ore City, Texas; many special grandchildren, including Megan Bohon, of Hot Springs, several special great-grandchildren and numerous special nephews and nieces.

A graveside memorial service in Martha’s honor will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Cemetery in Texarkana, Texas, with Pastor Tommy Bohon officiating.
