MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Billy Wayne Walker, 71, of Memphis, Tenn., born March 16, 1941, passed away Jan. 26, 2013. He was born to Richard and Lennie Walker, of Wynne, Ark. He was a retired driver from Mid-South Transport. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family.

Billy is survived by his wife of 36 years, Brenda Walker; two sons, Chris (May) Walker, Richard (Judy) Walker; four daughters, Terri Walker, Amber (Patrick) Hendon, Sarah (Daniel) Short, and Raven Watson-Walker. He is also survived by his brother, Larry Walker; and nine grandchildren as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon with a memorial service following noon in the chapel at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 5599 Poplar Ave., Memphis, Tenn.
