Laura Marie Blackman, 88, of Hot Springs, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. She was born Oct. 13, 1924, in Plainview, Ark., to W.O. and Laura Storment.

Laura was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband of 66 years, Paul Bernard Blackman; son, Paul Bernard Blackman Jr.; and three brothers and five sisters.

Laura is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and John Witherington, of Nashville, Ark.; grandchildren, Jeff and Scott Witherington and Lydia Blackman; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emberli and Cole Witherington; and daughter-in-law, Rebecca Blackman.

Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crestview Cemetery with Stacy Sanders officiating.

Visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
