Gwendolyn Malinowski
Gwendolyn “Granny” Malinowski, 77, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. She was born in Chicago, May 12, 1935, to the late James and Geraldine (Owen) Reamer. She lived an active life, always on her way to visit friends or shop, and was never one to sit still. Granny loved her family, was loved by all she met, and was always the life of the party.
Granny is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Malinowski; brothers, Nick, James and Donald; and sisters, Barbara, Lee and Jerry.
She is survived by her daughters, Gwen (Malcolm) Gentry, of Hot Springs, and Michele “Sugar” Stafford, of Columbia, Miss.; son, Jeffery (Sheri) Malinowski, of Hot Springs; granddaughters, Sherry (Ben Riley) Steele and Crystal (Anthony Dunn) Gentry; and great-grandsons, Dylan Steele and Malcolm and Zane Dunn.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
