The 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand in the United States was Jan. 22, 2014. Each January, Knights of Columbus conducts its worldwide Baby Bottle Campaign. This year, Hot Springs' Knights of Columbus Council 6419 raised more than $7,100 and donated this money to Change Point.

Executive Director JoAnn Carter reported the recent successes that Change Point's Ultrasound Program is having, giving women considering abortion a way of viewing and hearing the new life within them. This medical technology provides a window into the womb enabling a mother to see her developing child, hear the baby's heartbeat, and witness firsthand the miracle of the new life within her.

Knights of Columbus is one of the ministries working to help Change Point. More than 400 client visits were made to Change Point during March.
