Lake Hamilton graduate Malorie Catlett was awarded the Garrison Scholarship by the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators at their annual meeting this summer.
Catlett will use the scholarship to further her education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville this fall. She is the daughter of Lake Hamilton employees Kevin and Jana Catlett.
The scholarship is named for C.B. Garrison, a former educator and well-known administrator in Arkansas. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence, leadership in school activities, work experiences and community service.
