Simone White, a recent Hot Springs High School graduate, has been announced as the first annual recipient of the Bobbie J. Williams Memorial Scholarship.
White will attend Xavier University in New Orleans, La., major in biology, pre-med, and minor in chemistry. She is the daughter Frankie and Patricia White.
