One person was injured in an accident involving multiple vehicles around 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Albert Pike Road near the Crystal Hill Road intersection. The driver of this Mercury Grand Marquis was transported to a local hospital. The accident also involved a Kia Sedona and a Dodge Caravan that were eastbound on the roadway and a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck headed westbound. A witness said a possible fifth vehicle was involved and left the scene, but state police said that had not been confirmed. The Sentinel-Record/Richard Rasmussen
