Magic Springs Water and Theme Park will continue to honor active and inactive military, law enforcement and firefighters with free admission on Saturday and Sunday, the final weekend for hero appreciation.
Official identification is required for free admission.
Also, on Sunday the park will offer free parking and allow visitors to bring in their own ice chests with food and beverages, excluding alcohol.
The park has set its operating schedule for the reminder of the 2014 season.
The entire park will continue to open through the Labor Day weekend and on Sept. 6 and 7.
The water park only will be open weekends beginning Sept. 14-28.
The park will reopen Oct. 11 for its annual Halloween festival "Magic Screams," continuing each Saturday and Sunday through Nov. 2 including Halloween on Oct. 31.
