Cain, McRae pace Rams past Conway

Chandler Cain's medalist 70 led Lakeside to a 10-stroke boys golf win over Conway Thursday at Hot Springs Country Club.

Cameron McRae shot a 71 and Jake Palmer a 73, the Rams totaling 292. Cade Freeland added a 78.

Jett Toliver paced Conway with a 73, Carter Cole adding a 74. Hot Springs' Zach Brown, playing individually, shot 95.

Casey Ott's 78 paced Conway's girls to a 254-298 (three scorers) victory. Logan Toliver added an 81 for the Lady Wampus Cats.

Rai Pullin led Lakeside with an 86. Haleigh homer added a 95.

Quapaw House to hold

4-man scramble Friday

The inaugural Quapaw House, Inc. 4-man Scramble will start at 8 a.m. Friday at the Hot Springs Country Club.

The event is the organization's largest fundraiser, with proceeds funding financial aid for individuals seeking treatment for substance abuse. Players will compete for prizes in putting challenge, longest drive, closest to the pin, chip n' challenge, hole-in-one shoot-out, and door prizes. Mulligans will be available for purchase, and a silent auction will be held.
