No solutions offered

Dear editor:

"Pitting both ends against the middle!" Another way of saying "divide and conquer." As I filter through the libretto/discourse of our "faithful few" letter writers, I am saddened by the cozen pawns we've let ourselves devolve to through the polarized partisan barbs that permeate, especially during each election cycle. Hardly an office seeker has a plan for solution, just a well-rehearsed, outsider-developed ploy to say "I'm not as bad as ole what's-his-face." The truth is not to be found and as Brother Dave Gardner used to say, "Don't trust a person who claims to know the truth and declares to have it all nailed down -- just ask 'em, then what's that all around it then?"

Some of you seekers (of truth, not political office) might gain a better insight as to the causal of our failing socio-economic system in America if you can concentrate solely on the economic principles brought out in an exceptional documentary film entitled "Inequality for All," released in 2013. It uses layman's terms that are easily understood and which point not only to the causal of decline but to a structure to rectify our 30-year demise of principled, intelligent actions to revitalize and secure the fiscal future of the USA.

Procure or rent a copy of this film and watch it with your friends, "seekers" and your grandchildren. They'll be thankful you did ... and then acted!
