Teachers and students of the Fountain Lake School District helped raise money to provide Christmas gifts for others in the community.

Michelle McCullough, math teacher at Fountain Lake High School, sought to spread Christmas joy to families in the district. She recruited staff and students to help show the "reason for the season."

Students paid one dollar to participate in various activities each day for two day. Activities consisted of Hay Day, the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, Music Day, Sonic Drink Day, Buying Tardy Passes, Raffle for Santa's Special Shopper, a pep rally for the Ultimate Beard Shaving Challenge of Coach Matt Kinsinger and a VIP pass to shave some of Kinsinger's beard.

Many of the school's clubs helped for the event to be successful. The Deca club took charge of organizing the Shaving Pep Rally. The Environmental And Spatial Technologies lab created videos, signs and passes.

Student council members sold passes to the activities at lunch and collected money. Four raffle winners assisted as Santa's Special Gift Shoppers and McCullough's enrichment class wrapped the presents.
