First-grade students from Park Magnet, a PYP World School, make a stop at National Park Medical Center, during a recent tour of Hot Springs. The tour was part of the students' recent Unit of Inquiry about "Our Community." Stops were made at the Garland County Library, Central Fire Station and the Transportation Depot, which was followed by a ride on a city bus. Marissa Burton, Jan Sligh and Joie Trejo accompanied their classes along with parent and grandparent volunteers.
