Gorge Road near Gulpha Gorge Campground in Hot Springs National Park was blocked off from Sleepy Valley Road to East Grand Avenue early Tuesday evening until authorities could remove a dump truck that overturned in the roadway near the campground's amphitheater. The driver, who was not injured, was not identified. The truck, which was hauling dirt and rocks, overturned around 4:45 p.m., said park rangers on the scene. An unoccupied vehicle parked in the campground area sustained damage from truck's load, they said, and the national park sustained damage to the guard rail and slight damage to some natural resources.
