The Melting Pot recently entertained visitors from Belgium at its library. Paul Philips and his wife, Katrien Croonenberghs, made the journey to Hot Springs for the specific purpose of visiting local relatives and meeting the Melting Pot researchers they had corresponded with over the past couple of years.

Philips originally contacted the Melting Pot for assistance in tracing an ancestor and during the process, it was discovered that several of his relatives still reside in the Hot Springs area. The group toured the library and visited with members and researchers for several hours. They plan to spend several weeks sightseeing in Garland County in addition to visiting other notable areas of the Natural State before returning home to Belgium.
