Audiences can celebrate "the king" of rock 'n' roll in August at the Hot Springs Community Pocket Theatre, 121 Orange St.

"Four Weddings and an Elvis" opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and again on Aug. 8 and 9 with matinees at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and on Aug. 10.

The action takes place in a Las Vegas wedding chapel that seems, at times, to have a revolving door with a variety of people coming in, leaving, and returning.

The wild cast of characters include Barbara Morgan, Tami Pultz, Kyle Acosta, Adrian Hinojosa, Jerry Longinotti, Ann Wilson, Kevin Day, Daphne Willis, Garrett Brenneman, and Josh Drake, a lineup of seasoned Pocket actors and a few new to the Pocket stage or returning after time away.

Linda Rickel is directing the production by playwright Nancy Frick.

Audiences should remember "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" except when they are encouraging friends and family to attend this show, a news release said.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students K-12.

Box office hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
