Claudia A. Beach, director of theater at Henderson, said the season was chosen with consideration given to the educational needs of the students and the interests of the directors and the public.

This year's season will feature ensembles, rather than individual leading roles.

"We start this year with a number of new talents joining us as freshmen," Beach said.

"We wanted a chance to get as many students as possible on stage in challenging roles. The ensemble plays we've selected allow us that ability and they excite us with the opportunity to come together as a company."

Tickets for performances are sold at the HSU Theatre Box Office in Arkansas Hall starting the Monday before opening night. All seats are reserved. Call the box office at 870-230-5291 for more information.
