Media's use of violent words to describe nonviolent situations/events.
Nonreactive plastic implants for elephants and rhinos to discourage poachers. Sell ivory and horn. Buy habitat enhancements such as water wells, peanuts and alfalfa.
Language classes during long bus rides: entertains students, academic credit possible.
Saturday letter, "Bible's view of interactions" -- author omits Ishmael incident.
Siphon over Blakely Dam -- no pumping, less turbidity, greater flexibility to the power company, no negative impact to the dam and relatively cheap: $250,000 local; 3.5 mil state or 275 mil federal.
The regional facility is funded by the locals. Per diem compensation from the state/federal does not mitigate outstanding local warrants.
