FOUNTAIN LAKE -- Parker Ross rushed for 255 yards and four touchdowns as Fountain Lake led Little Rock Christian Academy 33-10 after three quarters Friday night on Allen Tillery Field at Beckham Memorial Stadium.

Ross, on 13 carries, gained 155 of Fountain Lake's 181 first-half rushing yards. After a holding penalty negated Carson Chandler's 72-yard touchdown run, Ross went 70 yards for a score down the same near sideline on a sweep. Chandler ran for two points and an 8-0 lead with 4:34 left in the first quarter.

The Warriors responded with a 15-play scoring drive but settled for a 34-yard field goal by Hunter MacFarlane with 43 seconds left in the first quarter. MacFarlane attempted the long field goal after Kevin Zust missed a 24-yard attempt to end LRCA's first drive.

Fountain Lake controlled the line of scrimmage, holding the Warriors to 68 rushing yards over the first 24 minutes. Ross broke a tackle in the secondary on a 44-yard touchdown run, extending the lead to 15-3 with 6:56 left in the first half.

LRCA pulled within 15-10 as Tarrodd Collier took a middle screen 29 yards on fourth and nine with 3:56 before the break. Collier caught four passes for 44 yards, the Warriors settling for a short, accurate passing game. Brooks Boshears went 11 of 17 for 97 yards in the first half.

The Warriors needed nine plays to get from their 45 to Fountain Lake's 1, helped by a 28-yard pass from Boshears to Tanner Gentry on fourth and six, but that's where the drive fell apart. Fountain Lake stuffed them at the line of scrimmage three times before Chandler nailed Boshears for a seven-yard loss on fourth down.

Two plays later, Ross broke his longest run of the night, an 87-yard burst up the middle for a 22-10 advantage. The wheels then came off on the ensuing kickoff when Leo Martinez forced a fumble and J.T. McCoy made the recovery at the LRCA 11.

The Warriors stiffened, but Tyler Patton kicked a 29-yard field goal for a 25-10 advantage. On the ensuing kickoff, Damarea Crockett took it 95 yards for an apparent touchdown wiped out by offsetting penalties.

Fountain Lake held the Warriors to a three-and-out series, and Chance Wilson responded by breaking a 57-yard run on the next series. That set up a six-yard touchdown and two-point conversion by Ross, giving the Cobras a 33-10 advantage after three quarters.
