Garland County Jail Ministries Inc. will host its annual fundraiser, "Walk for Christ," at 10 a.m. Oct. 4, beginning at the Hollywood Park Pavilion in Hot Springs.
The walk will be a 2.5-mile trek on the Greenway Trail. Local churches, individuals and corporate sponsors participate each year in the festivities. Anyone wishing to support this event may contact the support office at 538-5565 or Chaplain Ed Losey at 622-3684.
GCJM works with the Garland County Sheriff's Department, county inmates, releases and their families.
