Dear editor: Religious letters need own space

Dear editor:

For over 30 years, I have been a page-to-page reader of this newspaper. I leave letters to the editor to last. It would make a grown man scream.

Folks, please stop the "holier-than-though" language and recognize that countering truth with a small "t" with Truth with a capital "T" is no argument. One is fact, the other opinion. When you play the God card, you end all reasonable discussion.

I suggest that letters quoting scripture, or its equivalent, be given their own space on the religion page. That would invite "t" vs. "T" argument which may even evolve into a comparative religions debate. Just saying.
