Both men were later released on $1,000 bond and are set to appear Sept. 23 in Garland County District Court.

GCSD Deputy Ashley Collier was reportedly dispatched shortly after 1 p.m. to the intersection of Jerry Lane and Shannon Lane, located near Amity Road, regarding a fight involving multiple people, and when she arrived she saw several people standing in the street.

She spoke to one victim, 19, who had a swollen lip, who stated he and Dodwell had been in a fight and Dodwell had punched him in the mouth, causing his injury.

The victim's friend, identified as Hood, had reportedly intervened in the fight and punched Dodwell in the mouth. It was noted Dodwell also had bruising and swelling to the inside of his mouth.

After everything settled down, Collier arrested both Dodwell and Hood and the others were all released. The report did not indicate what had started the initial altercation or what the relationship was between the different parties involved.

ā€¢ A local man is possibly facing felony and misdemeanor charges after allegedly threatening his estranged wife and attacking her male friend with a pipe Monday morning in Mountain Pine.

The victim, 22, told investigators that she is married to the suspect, 24, but they are separated, and she was staying with a friend, 33, at his residence on Sixth Street in Mountain Pine while she was filing for divorce.

She said that, sometime after 9 a.m., the suspect forced his way into the residence and told her he had left her friend lying in a ditch. He also allegedly threatened that he would burn her and their children to death in the house if she tried to take the children from him.

The male victim stated he had been walking toward his residence when the suspect pulled up beside him, got out of his vehicle, and started hitting him with a metal pipe.

Deputies noted the victim had a large, severe laceration on the top of his head and LifeNet personnel who had responded informed him he would need staples, but he reportedly declined to be transported to a hospital.

The victim stated he saw the suspect pull up into the driveway of his residence and go inside and he was trying to get there because he was worried the suspect was going to hurt his wife.

The report notes a witness, 43, who also lives on Sixth Street, told deputies he saw the entire altercation and corroborated the victim's story.

The suspect had left the area before deputies arrived and had not been located or charged as of Tuesday.
