The John Percifull Chapter of the NSDAR had one main winner of the Good Citizen award in 2014. Three seniors submitted essays to be considered and the decision was hard to judge the best. They were Bryan Hernandez, from Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts, Haile Lexis Garcia, from Mountain Pine High School, and Kelli Madison Elkin, of Lake Hamilton High, who won the award and $750 in scholarship money toward her education at Arkansas State University at Jonesboro.
