MAGNOLIA -- Several local students graduated from Southern Arkansas University over the summer.
Julia Hancock, of Bismarck, was honored at the SAU Summer Commencement on Aug. 8 at the Reynolds Center Grand Hall. Hancock was a Library Media major and graduated from the College of Education with a Master of Education degree.
Ellen Burke and Mylee Scarbrough, both of Malvern, were among the 40 undergraduates in the summer graduation ceremony.
Burke earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Scarbrough earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree.
