Fourteen years ago, two brothers opened J&S Italian Villa. Their award winning restaurant was voted the best in food and service 13 years in a row.
Now the restaurant is making a change in ownership. Brother Jamal Afkhami, who has been in the business for 45 years, has decided to retire and pursue other projects and interests. Sham Afkhami, his brother, partner and chef, will be the sole owner.
Sham Afkhami will always lead the way in food preparation along with his kitchen staff. He will also be out front in the dining room to make sure the guests are enjoying their menu selections and having a great dining experience.
The restaurant will continue serving dinner Monday through Saturday, 5 p.m. til closing. The lounge will continue happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Wednesday, as usual, will be ladies night with a complimentary buffet in the lounge only.
Sham and Jamal Afkhami have been together since 2000 serving Hot Springs. Jamal Afkhami has decided to retire and thanks all the friends and customers who have been with them for the past 14 years. "The fine food and service will continue to remain the same," he said. "So please, let Sham show you a great dining experience."
