Lake Hamilton High School students participated in Kick Butts Day on March 18. High school students at Fountain Lake, Hot Springs, Jessieville, Lake Hamilton and Mountain Pine signed banners to "stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco." Kick Butts Day was sponsored by the United Health Foundation, Garland County C.A.R.E.S., Quapaw House Inc. and Arkansas Department of Health's Tobacco Prevention Grant and SAMHSA.
