Brewer - Eastin

Janet Kay McAlister Brewer, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of her daughter, Mallory Noel Brewer, to Jordan Ray Eastin, both of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Billy Ray Eastin and Darla Janiene Eastin, of Hot Springs.

The bride-elect, who is daughter of the late Ralph Aaron Brewer, is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School. She is an alumna of Delta Zeta Sorority where she held the philanthropy chair; and received choir and band fellowships and participated in the University Choir and Concert Chorale groups. She is employed as a sales associate with Victoria's Secret and pursuing a degree in early childhood and music education at Arkansas Tech University.

Her fiance is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School; and Arkansas Tech University where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration. He received a choir fellowship and was a member of the University Choir. He works in the Employee Benefits Division with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and is a fashion model with Brink Models of Tulsa.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. May 30 at the Albert Pike Hotel, in Little Rock.

Kornegay - Settle

Mr. and Mrs. James Kornegay announce the engagement of their daughter, Paula Ann Rose Kornegay, to Thomas Michael Settle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Settle, of Bella Vista, and Mr. and Mrs. David Finley, of Wassila, Alaska.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School and attended National Park Community College. She is employed with Walgreens.

Her fiance is a graduate of Bethel Christian High School, Mena, and Rich Mountain Community College. He is employed with Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m. May 2 at The Royal Ridge. Family and friends are welcome.

Morgan - Harper

Gary and Angela Morgan, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mackenzie Danielle Morgan, to Matthew Kyle Harper, son of David and Thelma Harper, of Jessieville.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Crossgate Homeschool Group. She is pursuing an associate of arts degree at National Park Community College.

Her fiance is a graduate of Jessieville High School and Henderson State University. He is employed as an EMT with LifeNet.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m. July 18 at Family Farm, in Malvern.

Murphy - Sexton

Doyle Wayne Murphy and Elise Murphy, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Michelle Murphy, to Aaron Sexton, of Hot Springs, son of Mike and Leveta Sexton, of Malvern.

The bride-elect is a graduate of John Brown University. She is employed as a general manager with Gregg Orr Marine.

Her fiance is a graduate of Fountain Lake High School. He is employed as a production manager with Magic Springs.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m. May 2 at The Old Mill Wedding Chapel.

Smitherman - Clark

Tom and Shirley Smitherman, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of their daughter, Carey Elizabeth Smitherman, of Conway, to Jerry Dale Clark, of Little Rock. He is the son of Ronnie and Carolyn Clark, of Little Rock.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School; the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she received a BA and MA; and the University of Louisville where she received a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition. She is employed as an interim chair in the Writing Department of the University of Central Arkansas.

Her fiance is a graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School. He is employed as a leadman with American Commercial Lines.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m. May 17 in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens.
