Karen Navarette from Hot Springs High School has been selected to attend the 2015 Arkansas Governor's School hosted at Hendrix College in Conway.
Selected for the discipline of Language Arts, Navarette was chosen from approximately 600 applicants from 100 schools, representing 39 counties. She is the daughter of Gabriel and Mirna Navarrette.
Selection for Governor's School is based on a combination of ability and interest. The six-week intensive program is in its 36th year.
