The bride-elect is a graduate of National Park Community College nursing program. She is employed as a nurse with Mount Carmel Community at Hot Springs Village.
Her fiance is employed as a sales representative with C.J. Horner Co.
The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m. May 16 at Forest Creek Barn, Royal.
Ballard - Norwood
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ballard, of Quitman, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly June Ballard, to Joshua Allen Norwood, son of Rhonda and James Norwood, of Jessieville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School. She is employed with Good Samaritan Society, in Hot Springs Village.
Her fiance is a graduate of Jessieville High School. He is employed as a tire and lube technician with Wal-Mart.
The wedding will be held in May.
Carpenter - Gregory
Pete and Cindy Carpenter, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Brooke Carpenter, to Alexander Mark Gregory, son of Mark and Dana Gregory, of Hot Springs.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, where she was a member of the Power Band. She is pursuing a degree at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is a member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry.
Her fiance is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School, where he was a member of the cross country and track teams; and the University of Central Arkansas, where he was a member of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. May 15 at DeGray Lake Resort, Bismarck.
Turner - Rhodes
Paul and Sharon Turner, of Malvern, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Turner, to Joshua Rhodes, of Malvern, son of Clayton and Mellisia Rhodes, of Hope.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Malvern High School. She is employed at Boondocks Pool Hall, in Hot Springs, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in middle school math and science, at Henderson State University.
Her fiance is a graduate of Springhill High School. He is employed at Boondocks Pool Hall and will attend Henderson State University in the fall.
The wedding will be at 6 p.m. June 14 in Hot Springs.
