Pawnbroker of the Year awarded to Tim Collier of Pacer Ltd.

The National Pawnbrokers Association, the only national trade association representing independent pawnbrokers, announced the nomination and unanimous selection of Tim Collier, of Pacer Ltd. in Little Rock, as the 2015 NPA Pawnbroker of the Year.

As a member of the NPA since 1995, Collier has dedicated countless hours supporting the association through involvement in community outreach, charitable giving and government relations.

Over the past two years, he has served as acting chair of the association's Government Relations Committee.

He serves as president of the Arkansas Pawnbrokers Association.

"Mr. Collier has demonstrated a firm resolve in supporting the industry, not only during this past year, but also during the past two decades as a member," said Ben Levinson, president of the National Pawnbrokers Association, in the press release. "His service as chairman of the Government Relations Committee alone has helped strengthen the pawn industry's relationships with legislators and local law enforcement."

The award was presented to Collier during the annual NPA Awards ceremony on July 7 at Pawn Expo, the national convention and trade show for the pawn industry, hosted at the Mirage Event Center in Las Vegas.

The NPA Pawnbroker of the Year Award is presented annually to an NPA member who, through his or her performance, has demonstrated exceptional success in their business and local community and has made a significant contribution to the pawn industry during the previous year.
